Rocker Stopper
Even the best thought-out 'rocker stopper' needs some shock absorbsion. By adding a 24" F2 Shockle (or F3 Shockle for larger boats) to your system you will have a MUCH smoother rest at anchor. Simply add a Shockle onto the line that goes from your boom end to whatever you have in the water and immediately the sharp tug of the line is reduced (especially good when a passing boat makes a small, sharp series of waves that hit you broadside). You won't believe the difference!
This particular use for Shockles was suggested to us by satisfied customer W. Jenks who writes:
"The Shockle greatly improved the effectiveness of the rocker stopper by eliminating jerking & pulling.
- I use 2 large Shockles as chain snubbers
- I use 4 large Shockles to secure the dingy to the fore deck
- I use 2 large Shockles as a towing bridle for the dingy
- I use 1 large Shockles with the rocker stopper
