Assymetrical Spinnaker Tack
Using double 12" F3 Shockles on the asymetrical spinnaker tack works GREAT! Attach them to the tack, then to a line that feeds through a snatch block that you can lead or let out to get the best sail shape and position. When the sail flogs for any reason (screwing around with the sheets to adjust it, or if the wind is gusty) the shockles really take the brunt of the force.
