Tying down windsurfing masts and boards, just got a whole lot easier with the ShockStrap and the Mini-Shockle. The ShockStrap is adjustable from 24” to 60”. Just wrap the bungied end of the ShockStrap around any rack (or simply clip it to a D-ring or hook the end of the carabiner to any edge), throw it over your gear and clip the other end back around itself.
Or, just attach one end of a 12", 18" or 24" Mini-Shockle to your roof rack secure your gear and attach the other end of the Mini-Shockle around the roof rack.
While a rope or strap will eventually work itself loose leaving your gear to clatter around, the ShockStrap and Mini-Shockle will keep just the right amount of constant tension to hold your gear in place over rough roads or high winds. And unlike those cheap 'normal' bungie cords or black rubber tie-downs, the ShockStrap and Mini-Shockle won't break, fray or get brittle and weak in the sun.
